Brief Overview
The Naples Elite is kind of like pornography. I can't define it but I know it when I see it.
Overall Quality
The Naples can best be described as not good and weird. By weird I mean uncomfortable in an after school special sort of way. Aside from my normal grievances with recumbent elliptcals this unit has more in common with the "IT Bike" from South Park than an actual real piece of fitness equipment. As a result I will draw comparison between the "IT" and the Naples because it is ridiculous so much so that I am reduced to comparing it to a cartoon bike. First it is not comfort at all. Although I have never had the opportunity to ride and actual "It Bike" the Naples feels about as comfortable as I would expect the "IT" would feel. Appearance, you can?t argue that they do look alike I wonder if the chief engineers last name is Garrison. Ergonomics, I would never want someone to see me operate this thing or know that I own one. For all of those reason and many more that the sensors cut out the Naples Elite if the winner of this years "IT" award. The Naples is not for everyone but if you are just a little curious and get up the courage you might find you like it.
