Overall Quality
Not to take anything away from Vision, the s60 and s70 suspension ellipticals can best be described as the poor mans Arc-Trainer. To be clear, there is nothing poor about it. A tremendous value over the Arc-Trainer, the s60 still comes in well over 3k after tax, delivery and installation. The movement is familiar. More arc in shape than ellipse and the console is straight forward and easy to navigate. The stride is fixed at 21 inches so if there are multiple users you might want to consider the Vision S70 equipped with motorized adjustable stride. However, the 21 inch fixed stride is ample for 6 foot plus users while shorter users wont feel like they are swimming. It might be worth the extra for the S70. The self powered elliptical?s braking works on an electrical loading platform. Electrical loading found in nearly 100% time in commercial equipment gives the resistance settings consistent linear progression up through the levels allowing any user to dial in perfect work-load intensity. The warranty is solid and even more important, the fulfillment is there to match. If you use a Cybex Arc Trainer at the gym or on the road and have been struggling with the 6k or 7k needed to bring one home struggle no more, look no further, Vision has you covered.
