How long will the True ES900 Recumbent last?
The one good thing about paying so much for a bike is that you should not have to worry about buying another bike again or at least for a very long time. With the True ES900 Recumbent, you likely won’t have to buy another bike depending on the type of user you are. True as a company has a long-standing reputation for building strong machines that they stand behind and the ES900 is no exception. We would recommend this model for a moderate to a heavy user who might have a health requirement or simply wants to maintain their fitness without the uncomfortable bike seat feel. As always, though, we cannot stress the importance of taking the best care of your machines. Simply storing them in an air-conditioned room and unplugging them when they are not in use can add years to your machine.
Brief Overview
Would you like a bike with a great warranty and company backing, tons of features, and a great build? Well, look no further than the True ES900 Recumbent. That is, if you can afford it. There a lot of great features with this bike but we understand it is not in most people's price range. Even still, we have awarded the True ES900 Recumbent our First Place 2021 Best Buy Winner for the $3,000 to $3,999 dollar range.
Overall Quality
A brand new Ford Bronco is awesome but the price tag is not. Similarly, we understand that a bike that is nearly four grand is not the most viable option. But if you are able to consider a bike of this stature, the True ES900 is certainly a viable option.
Our First Place Best Buy for two years in a row offers a ton of valuable features that help it stand out from the crowd. For starters, there are the average features like the drive belt system which is often more reliable than chain drive systems. This model also comes with thirty resistance levels, an adjustable seat, adjustable handlebars, and a walk-through design. All these features work together to make the True ES900 accessible for many different users.
We also have the features that stand out above the rest. Even though the True ES900’s console is not as huge and updated as other consoles on the market, True has included a seven-year warranty just for their nine-inch touchscreen console. This recumbent bike also comes with a lifetime frame, ten-year parts, and one-year labor warranty all through a great company like True. We also like True's heart rate feature that they call the HRC Cruise Control. This feature allows you to set an ideal heart rate and the ES900 Recumbent will adjust the speed so that your heart rate stays at that rate.

History
For the second year in a row, the ES900 Recumbent has been named our First Place Best Buy for this price category. Much like this year, we recognized the value of the ES900 from the warranty to the build to the features included.
Conclusion
Really the only two drawbacks that we can see in the True ES900 Recumbent is a console that might not be as large or upgraded as others on the market and the high price tag. But if you are looking for what could very well be your last bike, this model is packed with value and high quality. Consequently, we have awarded the True ES900 Recumbent our First Place 2021 Best Buy Award for the $3,000 to $3,999 dollar range.
