We would pass on the 4870 and buy the 4860 instead.
Overall Quality
The addition of a 7" LCD screen for $300 is just not worth it in my book. You may have a different opinion, but I would pass on this and buy the identical base unit for $300 less. You will get the same basic unit and can watch TV off of your regular TV set.
