Brief Overview

The Landice E7 Cardio isn't worth the money. If you want an E7 buy the Pro version console. We would recommend that you purchase the E7 Pro Sports. It is the same base machine for $700 less with a simpler console. The E7 Cardio is essentially an E7 Pro with an upgraded console for an additional $700. Hardly a "good deal" in our opinion. Landice is an excellent company with a long reputation for building quality treadmills and ellipticals for the premium fitness market. You will never get screwed over buying a Landice machine but some of their machines are better values than others. The E7 Cardio is one of those machines. You are better off buying the E7 Pro and getting a great fitness app for your smartphone or tablet.

Overall Quality

The E7 Executive console is a major upgrade from the console configuration of the Pro and the Pro Sports. Consoles have been discounted in importance by some, but proper feedback on your workout is an excellent motivational tool to keep you exercising.

The E7 Cardio is the upgraded version of the E7 Pro and Pro Sports models. The only difference, however, is the console, and at $3,695, it's asking for significantly more money. We would actually recommend getting the Executive for $4,295, which has the best console of all. The workout feedback features can certainly provide some extra motivation.

Ergonomically speaking, this machine is okay, but you can find a few models that are significantly cheaper and that offer a more natural range of motion. The adjustability isn't great. The stride length can be set between 17-23", which gives you some ability to fit this elliptical to your personal body type. Some machines that sell for around $1,000 offer more options for adjustments.

As far as projected reliability is concerned, this model is great. The high price keeps it from being overly impressive, though. You can save a couple of hundred dollars and get an elliptical with a longer life expectancy than this one has. The quality of parts is also nice, but it doesn't stand out at this high of a price.

The noise levels of this machine are lower than average. Most ellipticals make about the same amount of noise regardless of price, but this is one of the few models that is quieter than most. If noise levels are a major concern for you, you'll have to pay a little more to find an option that is better in this area.

The warranty on the Landice E7 Cardio is great. Labor is covered for 1 year and parts, wear items, and the frame are covered for life. You're not going to find an elliptical that comes with a better warranty than this. Landice asks for a lot of money, but they provide good quality and great coverage.
