Brief Overview
Similar to the NordicTrack E 12.0, the E 5.5 is a solid machine. Before you buy, we would recommend that you look at the lineup from Epic and Sole. Both give you differences. Epic additional features that are a nice touch and the Sole, that has fewer features but better quality and durability.
Overall Quality
The e5.5 is a solid machine that is a little overpriced for what you get. We recommend that if you want a FreeMotion machine that you purchase the e6.4 or the e6.2. In our opinion, I would recommend that you go with NordicTrack. FreeMotion and NordicTrack are made by the same company and you won't have to deal with some fo the less than reputable online retailers that carry the FreeMotion machines. Icon, Freemotions parent company seems more concerned about creating feature-laden products and less concerned about making sure that all the bugs are worked out in their products. We would look at Sole and Smooth in these price points if you are looking for high-quality equipment.
