How long will the Bowflex Treadmill 22 last?
The Treadmill 22 holds a weight capacity of a hefty 400 lbs. and weighs in at 336 lbs. Bowflex offers a 15-year frame and motor warranty, 5-year mechanical parts, 1-year electronics, and 2 years labor warranty which is not too shabby but pales in comparison to lifetime warranties offered on competing models. We think a moderate to heavy jogger will get more than a few years of performance from this newest edition to the Bowflex line. While we think the treadmill will last a while, it is useful to notice Bowflex only offers a single year warranty on the electronics, like they knew in advance they might encounter issues with these components.
Brief Overview
The Bowflex Treadmill 22 has extended handlebar grip and larger touchscreen making it slightly taller than the Treadmill 10. The Treadmill 22 also offers a broader 20% incline and 5% decline feature to intensify workouts making the longer handlebars extremely handy for gripping during height-straining exercises. In addition, the Treadmill 22 comes with an unlimited number of users thru the JRNY membership and only one membership is needed per household.
Overall Quality
If you have been looking for a hi-tech treadmill with streaming options, the Bowflex Treadmill 22 should be high on your list of possibilities. It has an adjustable 22” touchscreen which allows users to access unlimited workouts from instructor led sessions as well as entertainment apps or scenic routes that are streamed in with the purchase of the JRNY membership.
Moreover, the performance specs on the Treadmill 22 will not disappoint fitness fans. From the Comforttech™ deck cushioning designed to absorb shock, to the hand grips that read your heart rate to ensure you're working out at an optimal level, this treadmill has everything you need for a safe and effective workout. Speed and incline knobs are located conveniently for you to use while walking or jogging and the roomy 22” x 60” invites a larger number of users to partake in workout sessions. It operates in speeds up to 12 MPH so even the most dedicated cardio fitness enthusiast will not be disappointed. Other features include an integrated 3-setting fan, USB port, tablet holder, and a place for your water bottle.

Conclusion
If you’re looking for a hi-tech treadmill with streaming options, the Bowflex Treadmill 22 is worth considering as it has much to offer in terms of performance specs. In the less than $3000 price range, this machine is a serious contender in the treadmill industry. One of our only concerns is you must eventually invest in a JRNY membership to utilize the functions and streaming service in the console as without it, only your basic workout metrics are displayed and that would be an incredible waste of a 22” touchscreen display.
