Brief Overview
At $1800 we would be looking at NordicTrack or Pacemaster. Sole and Smooth have also stepped up to the plate but most of those brands (except Pacemaster) lack the strong servicing dealer. If you need service, that can make all the difference in the world.
Overall Quality
We aren't fans of ortho belts but this unit isn't bad. If you can get a dealer to move to $2k on the TR1180, it is one to consider if you are working with a dealer and want the service a small dealer can provide.
