Move up or down in the BH Fitness lineup, the X1 and X4 make more sense.
Overall Quality
BH Fitness came on the scene last year with some ho-hum product offerings. They had trouble moving products through the traditional channels so they moved strong online through outlets like Amazon.com, Sears.com, and Walmart.com. While that sounds impressive it really isn't. Their product offerings, whether expensive or not, have such poor value compared with the competition it is hard to see how anyone could actually buy one. If you are considering the X1, X3, X4 or X5 we would recommend that you purchase something from Horizon Fitness or Icon. If you are looking at the X8R or the X9R, try LifeFitness, Precor, Vision, or FreeMotion.
