How long will the NordicTrack Z 1300i last?
Now the life span of any treadmill in this price range can be tricky to determine. The Folks at Icon give you a good warranty, so they are true believers in this product. The NordicTrack z 1300i purports to be able to support a 350 LB individual we at Treadmill Doctor consider this spurious. We highly doubt that a 350 LB runner would get years of hassle-free use out of this treadmill. We feel that if you are a slightly above average adult male and do the proper maintenance you may get few quality years out of this treadmill.
Brief Overview
This year’s 3rd place winner for the Treadmill Doctor 2021 Best Buy list in the $700-$999 price range is the NordicTrack Z 1300i. Icon makes many popular entry-level treadmills that you have seen in big box stores, on sidewalks waiting to be recycled, and low-end fitness dealers alike. This NordicTrack treadmill has a good array of programs and includes a 1 Year of Ifit. We at the Treadmill Doctor are not fans of ifit due to the cost of nearly $400 a year, however, Icon did include many programs standard on this machine. This is the most affordable treadmill in this price range on this year’s Best Buy List. Understanding that you get what you pay for and we find this treadmill to be an okay option for people on a budget.
Overall Quality
The NordicTrack z1300i is built with the same quality as all of Icons fitness equipment. The z1300i has a fair amount of weight to it and has a solid motor. Now the z1300i is sturdier than most treadmills in its price range. Surprisingly this Nordictrack is a little more affordable than a lot of the treadmills in its price range. Icon packed a lot of quality programs and 1 year of Ifit into this machine. We like the generous walking area and feel that the z1300i may come close to supporting a jogger approaching its weight capacity of 350 LBS. We feel that the drive motor is more than capable to handle a walker in this weight range. As with all treadmills in this price range, it can be a bit of a gamble, but Icon offers a fair warranty with this treadmill which leads us to believe some quality parts have been invested in the Z1300i.

Conclusion
In conclusion, the NordicTrack Z 1330i is an entry level treadmill with a lot of programs and comes with one year of Icon's fabled Ifit. You will have plenty of workouts to choose from when exercising in the winter. NordicTrack has been around for a long time, and they make some quality products. Their customer service could be better. There are certainly treadmills of less quality you could choose from in this price range. If you’re on a budget this NordicTrack Z 1300i may work out for you and last a good number of years with a little luck and TLC.
