The Proform 525 CT is a new model in the Proform lineup that combines Proform's great industrial design with low end parts to give you the look of a treadmill without the implied quality. I understand why Proform builds these�there are people who don't have $1,000 to buy a decent quality machine but most people who buy and use this machine will quickly destroy it. Real world fractional HP motor combined with a generous sized belt with cheap drive system parts and cheap electronics will give you a result that is as easy to predict as the end result of someone who ignores all traffic signals.
