MC 70 Calibration

The motor controller must be calibrated once installed to operate correctly. Failure to calibrate can cause error codes or the speed to be inaccurate. Instructions on how to calibrate the speed should be in a plastic pouch inside the motor hood and will explain how to access this from the upper computer.

The manual adjustment on the board to increase or decrease the speed is a small, black round potentiometer with a white center. This potentiometer is located next to the three speed wire connections that are red, white, and black and color and are labeled on the board H, W, and L. The potentiometer is turned VERY slightly clockwise to increase the speed and VERY slightly counter-clockwise to decrease the speed.

The speed should be set within 0.2 of the maximum speed of the treadmill for proper operation. The maximum speed of your treadmill will be printed on the instruction sheet in the pouch under the motor hood.

If you have any questions or need us to walk you through the process, feel free to email us at doc@treadmilldoctor.com or call us at 901-683-5292.
